Otherwise, I'm back in Pucón for 2 days before take the bus to Santiago and then flight to France.
The road was soooo long to come back in Pucón from Futaleufu!!
The trip ended in 2 days so I'll really enjoy my last days in Chili and wait for next November!!! ;-)

The river is still hight and the rapids are still so huge, that's awesome!

Futaleufu - Chile

I'm in Futa!!!!
It's a real pretty nice place!!!!
To come here, Mariann and I drove across the amazing Patagonia wich is real dream for the eyes!!!
A full day on th road... soooo long, and to cross the frontiers Argentina - Chile it's so boring!!!

It's actually my 3rd day in Futa, I paddled yesterday afternoon the terminator section with a big water level!!!
So, well, no worry it's exactly as everybody said me how it is... FAT!!!!
I paddled all the rapids, for a 1st time in big waters it's quite good!!!

Right now I'll have to learn how to paddle in big waters and get some experience to be "easy" on this beautiful big waters river!!!

I'll try to upload photos and news asap!!!

It's done, all the rapids of the Upper Palguin are now open!!!
It just staid this waterfall at the entry of the Upper Palguin... 28 meters (85feet)!!!
Steve droped in last week.
28 meters, why not but the entry of this waterfall is quite hard!!!
Respect Steve one more time!!

1st descent on the Trafanpulli - Chile

We were yesterday on the Trafanpulli for a first descent with Kurt Casey (USA), Jakyb Sedivy (CZE), Steve Fisher (RSA), Mariann Seather (NOR) and me the young frenchy!!!

After a long long drive, we arrived on the Trafanpulli between the two lakes Caburga et Colico.
And we were ready for a long road to get the put in and let's go for the 1st D.
A pretty nice river in the french Pyrenees style, so I was so used to paddle this kind of river. ;-)
