2 days canoeing the Orb river - France

Unplanned trips are often the best ones!!
It goes again this time, I called Paul Villecourt wednesday eve and here I go to a 35km Open Canoe trip on 2 days on the orb river, southern France. And this started the next morning, so Thursday morning.
We were 7 persons to paddle the Orb from Colombière village to the slalom kayak course of Réals near Cessenon sur Orb.

First strokes on the Orb river.
We enjoyed an awesome weather on this 2 days canoeing.

The beach where we slept Thursday night.

Good evening along the river with a camp fire, sausage, french wine, homemade paté, well a real good french bivouac!!!

Second day on the Orb river, still wonderfull!!

Paul Villecourt across one of the villages of the valley.

Myself, in my FLUID BigBang, a really good kayak for the multidays trip, even more on easy class I II III runs!!

Me, what a cliché in this photo, a river, a canoe, a wood paddle, a village with stone house, a old castel, green trees and a massive blue sky... Welcome to southern France!!

Me in a kayak ramp not far from the end of the trip.

Ass slide with Philippe and Christian.

The famous "waterfall" of the whitewater course of Réals... in my kayak...

... And in a Open Canoe!!

A really nice multidays trip on the Orb river, even if the waterlevel wasn't optimal this river is simply amazing and deserves to be paddled more often than it is at the moment!!
Many thanks to my 6 canoeing mates, and once again thanks to Paul Villecourt for his great photos!!
